PROGRAM
Welcome to Kyrgyzstan! Upon arrival in the capital city of Bishkek, you'll have some free time to rest or explore the surroundings. In the afternoon, we’ll take a short city tour to get familiar with the culture, history, and local life. In the evening, enjoy a warm welcome dinner with the group.

After breakfast, we’ll drive east to the mountain town of Karakol, located at the foot of the Terskey Alatau range. Once we arrive, we’ll take time to rest, check gear, and prepare for the upcoming adventure into remote mountain areas.

Today we leave civilization behind. We drive about 3 hours into the mountains, crossing a dramatic high mountain pass at 3822 meters. From there, we switch to horses and ride 10 km deeper into the wilderness. Our destination is a stunning hidden alpine lake, known by locals as Eagle Lake—the first of several secret lakes in this remote region.

After a hearty breakfast, we continue our horseback journey, riding 15 km to a breathtaking panoramic viewpoint at 3880 meters. From this ridge, we’ll enjoy a 360° view of the surrounding peaks—a moment to remember. Then we descend into a wide valley, where our vehicles will be waiting to transfer us to a scenic camping spot facing a majestic high mountain.

After breakfast, we drive further into the valley until the road ends. From there, we begin an unforgettable trek, ascending from 3400 to 3850 meters. At the top, we’ll reach a hidden alpine lake with spectacular views of some of the highest peaks in the region—Khan-Tengri (7000 m) and Peak Pobeda (7439 m)—as well as many other surrounding summits.
This is a fully self-supported overnight trek. Each participant will need to carry their own gear and food for one night. The lake has no name yet—perhaps we will be the first to name and share it with the world.

Today we hike back down from the high camp and begin our return journey to Karakol, taking a different and scenic route through another beautiful valley. The total drive and hike will take around 6–7 hours. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a well-deserved dinner in town and then relax in natural hot springs to soothe our muscles after the mountain adventure.

On our final day, we travel along the scenic south shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Along the way, we stop at Ak-Say Canyon, known for its dramatic landscapes and colorful rock formations. We’ll also experience a traditional eagle hunting demonstration, a unique part of Kyrgyz nomadic culture.
In the evening, we gather for a memorable farewell dinner. Afterwards, those with night flights will be transferred to the airport.

The trek is moderate in difficulty. It involves an ascent of about 500 meters, with some steeper sections along the way. While it’s not extremely hard, prior trekking experience is recommended. Good hiking shoes and appropriate clothing for changing mountain weather are essential to stay comfortable and safe.
Yes, this tour is suitable for beginners. We will provide calm and well-trained horses, making it easier for first-time riders. However, having some prior experience is always helpful to feel more comfortable during the ride. Our guides will also provide basic riding instructions before we start.
We will have a cook traveling with us who will prepare fresh meals every day. The menu includes a variety of local and international dishes. If you are vegan or have specific dietary preferences, we can accommodate that—just let us know in advance.
Cell phone coverage is limited or unavailable in most remote areas of the tour. You will be off the grid for most of the journey, allowing you to fully disconnect and enjoy nature. However, in some locations, there might be weak signals depending on your mobile provider.
To book the tour, you need to make a deposit, provide a copy of your passport, and book your flight ticket. Once we receive the deposit and your details, we will confirm your spot in the group.

We will use different types of vehicles depending on the terrain. For traveling between cities, we will use a comfortable minibus. In remote and off-road areas, we will switch to 4x4 vehicles such as Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota 4Runner to ensure a safe and smooth journey through the rugged landscapes.

Daytime temperatures range from +5 to +15°C, while nights can drop below 0°C. Weather can change quickly, with possible rain or even early snow. Warm and waterproof clothing is essential.
