PROGRAM
Early in the morning, we meet in Bishkek and begin our journey east and we drive to the south shore of Issyk-Kul lake, the second-largest alpine lake in the world. On the way, we explore Aksay canyon’s dramatic landscapes and meet a local eagle hunter for a fascinating introduction to this ancient tradition.

We drive to the Chon-Kyzyl Suu valley, where our horses and team will be waiting. From there, we begin a scenic horseback ride to our yurt base camp. The route covers about 16 km through beautiful green mountain landscapes and alpine meadows.
Close to sunset, we arrive at our comfortable yurt camp surrounded by nature.

After breakfast, we set off on horseback from the camp, riding deeper into a wilder part of the mountains toward the next valley. Along the way, we may meet local shepherds living in yurts and tending their herds. The route offers stunning views of Issyk-Kul Lake, the Tien Shan mountains, and fields of wildflowers. In the evening, we gather around a campfire under the open sky.

On this day, we continue on horseback, descending into the Karakol Valley. After lunch, we transfer to a hotel for check-in and some well-deserved rest. Later, we visit nearby hot springs (if will be open) to relax after the ride. The route offers beautiful mountain scenery along the way.

On this day, we drive to a remote border region near China, heading into the last inhabited valley where local shepherds still live. Along the way, we cross a high mountain pass at 3,822 meters and explore the abandoned Soviet mining town of Enilchek. We also visit ancient petroglyphs hidden in the landscape. The day is a true off-road adventure by 4×4, with dramatic scenery throughout the journey.
After arrival 3pm we ride on a true horseback expedition high into the mountains for 3h, with powerful views of the Tien Shan peaks and glaciers. It will be an unforgettable riding experience in spectacular alpine scenery. In the evening, a traditional sauna will be prepared, offering the perfect way to relax after the day’s adventure.

It will be an unforgettable riding experience in spectacular alpine scenery. In the evening, a traditional sauna will be prepared, offering the perfect way to relax after the day’s adventure.

On this day, we will drive one the scenic area over 3000m and view of peak around over 5k. Off-road adventure for 4-5h and stay at another shepherd house.

On this day, we return to Karakol. The drive takes about five hours with scenic stops along the way. In the evening, we enjoy a well-deserved dinner at a local final restaurant.

On this day, we will transfer to Bishkek via the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Guests who would like to stay longer in Karakol are welcome to remain there, while the others can continue to Bishkek. Our driver will drop each guest directly at their hotel in the city.

We offer a mix of comfortable hotels, traditional yurt camps, and tents in remote areas. Hotels provide modern amenities, while yurts and tents give you an authentic nomadic experience.
Yes, this tour is suitable for beginners. We will provide calm and well-trained horses, making it easier for first-time riders. However, having some prior experience is always helpful to feel more comfortable during the ride. Our guides will also provide basic riding instructions before we start.
The menu includes a variety of local and international dishes. If you are vegan or have specific dietary preferences, we can accommodate that - just let us know in advance.
Most travelers arrive at Manas International Airport in Bishkek. We provide airport transfers as part of the tour. Most of the flight from Turkey (Turkish airlines) or Dubai (Fly Dubai)
For the main part of the tour, we will use a comfortable minibus for group travel between cities and popular locations. For remote and off-road areas, we switch to 4x4 vehicles like Toyota 4Runner to ensure safe and smooth travel through rugged mountain terrain.
June and July are some of the best months to visit Kyrgyzstan, with warm days, green landscapes, and stable weather. In cities, around Issyk-Kul Lake, and lower valleys, daytime temperatures are usually between +22°C and +30°C.
In mountain regions such as Jety-Oguz, Irdyk, and Sary-Jaz, temperatures are cooler, usually around +12°C to +22°C during the day, and +3°C to +10°C at night.
Weather is generally sunny and dry, but mountain conditions can change quickly, so we recommend bringing layers and a waterproof jacket.

If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund rules apply:
- More than 30 days before the tour – Full refund (minus transaction fees).
- 15-29 days before the tour – 50% refund.
- 7-14 days before the tour – 30% refund.
- Less than 7 days before the tour – No refund.
We keep the group size small and personal, typically between 6 to 12 people, to ensure a friendly and authentic experience.
